Loan Watch

21 August 2017

It has been a disappointing week for the lads out on loan over the past week, with both suffering two defeats.

Joe Slinn continued to start for Stalybridge Celtic, as they came up against Whitby Town last Tuesday and Rushall Olympic on the weekend.

Unfortunately, it was a difficult night away at Whitby, as Celtic suffered a 4-1 defeat and then again on the weekend against Olympic it was a 1-0 defeat, with the winner coming from the penalty spot.

Adam Yates and Macclesfield Town suffered a similar fate, losing 2-1 to Sutton United midweek, although Yates played no part in that game, as he was an unused substitute.

However, Adam featured against Gateshead on the weekend and was unable to prevent the Silkmen falling to a 3-0 loss.

Next up for Joe is a Marine and Shaw Lane, whilst Yatesy comes up against Dover Athletic and Chester.
