The Valiants will now face another trip on the road.
Port Vale can announce that the Bruno Ribeiro and his side will now travel to Hillsborough Stadium, to face Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday the 31t of July 2016, K.O at 4:30pm.The fixture is the third Championship side that Vale will face, as they look to get preparations underway ahead of the new season.
It will be the first time the two have met since the EFL Cup clash in 2009 at Vale Park, when goals from Kris and Rob Taylor, gave the Valiants a 2-0 win to progress into the Third Round of the competition.
