Port Vale midfielder Sam Foley says he has good memories of Highbury Stadium having scored a hat trick against Fleetwood Town a few years ago.
The Valiants head to the Lancashire coast this weekend looking to bounce back from two straight Sky Bet League One loses.
During his Newport County days, Foley bagged a treble in a Blue Sqaure Conference clash with the Cod Army.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD, the 28-year-old admitted it’s something he’d love to repeat on Saturday as part of a Vale win.
“That would be nice,” he remarked. “That was a few years ago now but I have got very good memories of that ground. I’d take a goal over a hat trick to begin with though.”
