November.thThe 19-year-old, who came through the Foxes’ academy, has signed a 28-day deal with the Valiants, which will keep him at the club until 16

A Saint Kitts and Nevis international, Panayiotou made his first and only appearance so far for Leicester’s first team during the 2011/12 season - scoring a late winner away against Leeds United.

The forward will wear the No. 27 shirt for Vale and will be eligible to play in the club’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Scunthorpe United on Tuesday night.

Speaking of the acquisition of Panayiotou, Vale interim manager Rob Page said: “Young Harry is going to come into the squad.

“We only bring players in who we think are going to add that little bit of quality and something different.

“He’s a young lad, I spoke to Kevin Phillips about him and whenever he trains with the first team he has got an eye for goal.

“He’s got a great work ethic, he’s not a minute’s problem so we just think it’s an opportunity to bring him in and get him amongst the squad.”
