One of the most endearing things about the great Rudgey sides of the 1980’s and 90’s was that of a commanding playmaker, who could take play by the proverbial you know whats in the middle. Whether it was ooooh Andy Porter, Ray Walker or the golden locks of Robin Van Der Laan, the Vale faithful have always appreciated a grafter with a bit of finesse in the engine room.
