Friday saw the club host its inaugural Hall of Fame event, with the first intake of inductees recognised on a special evening at Vale Park.
The 'Class of 2026' were celebrated in front of supporters, family and friends and guests in the aptly-named Legends Lounge, with the black-tie event hosted by Vale supporter Jonathan Wilkes and sponsored by the University of Staffordshire.
Having been selected by an independent committee, managers and players past and present were inducted, while Special Recognition Awards were also presented to the Sproson family and legendary 'Iron Curtain' team of 1953/54.
