Jasper Moon is a Valiant

JM

Port Vale Football Club are delighted to announce that defender Jasper Moon will officially join the Valiants on 1st July.

The 25-year-old centre-back arrives at Vale Park with valuable experience across the English Football League and becomes our first signing of the summer transfer window.

Moon began his career with Barnsley, progressing through the club's academy system before gaining senior experience during loan spells with York and Burton Albion. Known for his composure on the ball, aerial presence and versatility across the back line, he has gone on to establish himself as a dependable defender.

Speaking about Jasper, Jon Brady said: “Jasper was a player we identified early because he possesses many of the qualities we value. At 25, he has already built up good experience, but we firmly believe he still has significant room for growth and development.

He’s a strong defender, an excellent professional and, just as importantly, a character who will help drive standards both on and off the pitch. We want people at this football club who are committed, ambitious and prepared to challenge themselves and those around them every day, and Jasper fits that profile perfectly.

We’re delighted he’s chosen to join Port Vale. He’s hungry to improve, eager to contribute and we’re looking forward to working with him as we continue building a competitive squad capable of moving this football club forward.”

Welcome to Vale Park, Jasper!
