Mick passed away on 9th May 2020 aged 73 after a long illness.
Much loved husband to Jill, Loved Dad to Richard and Kate, cherished Grandad to Matt, Jess, Josh and Millie. Brother to Pat, Dave, Phil and Steve. Father in law to Kelly and Jon. Son in law, brother in law, uncle and friend.
Mick was a lifelong vale fan who enjoyed his pre-match drinks with friends and family in his home town of Burslem and then on to the match to watch his beloved club.
A proud season ticket holder for many years whose family holidays couldn’t be booked until he knew the vale fixtures as missing a vale match was definitely not an option.
Over the last few years when he couldn’t attend the matches due to his health, he still followed the club and talked about them all the time.
Mick will be sadly missed and will receive the send-off he deserves once current restrictions are eased. Everyone is welcome to join the family to celebrate his life at a later date, In the meantime raise a pint for a truly amazing person.
