Vale team up with Potteries Shopping Centre
Port Vale Football Club has teamed up with The Potteries Shopping Centre to offer tickets to community groups throughout the Stoke-on-Trent area.
The Potteries Shopping Centre is funding 1000 tickets between now and the end of the campaign which groups will be able to apply for, with a maximum of 100 being allocated to any one group, though smaller numbers can also be applied for.
There will be a set number allocated for each of the remaining home games, starting with the home fixture against Bradford City on Tuesday, March 5. All community groups are eligible to apply, including youth groups, sporting organisations, religious groups, volunteer groups and other associations. All applications must come from a Stoke on Trent post-code.
Port Vale’s Commercial Director, John Booth, said: “Engaging with community groups remains a priority for us and I am very pleased that we are able to offer tickets for forthcoming games, with help from the Potteries Shopping Centre, who have been a very supportive partner in this activity.
“It doesn’t matter if your community group is large or small-scale – we want to give something back and I hope people will take us up on this offer.”
Paul Francis, General Manager of the Potteries Shopping Centre, added: “
“The Potteries Shopping Centre has always played an active role in the community and working with Port Vale provides new avenues for the Centre to make a positive contribution to people in the area.”
We are delighted to be able to foster links with local community groups in giving them the opportunity to support their local football team, Port Vale FC, by funding tickets to some future matches.
