Grew wants Vale supporters to get behind the team tomorrow tonight
Mark Grew has said Vale supporters can play their part on Friday night to help the team get through to the third round of the FA Cup.
The team is well prepared for the visit of Skrill Premier outfit Salisbury City, but the fans can make a big difference on the night.
Grew said: “Preparation has been exactly the same as it would have been for any league game. We have had Salisbury watched three times, so we are not taking them lightly.
“George Foster has watched them and has given us great reports and I have spoken to Martin Foyle about them and he has given us some information about them.
“This is a big game for us and if we win it we could be in for a real money spinner in the next round, but we are not taking it lightly, that’s for sure.
“Everybody wants to be in that third round and hopefully if you get through and get one of the big boys you put yourself up against the teams you want to play against, as we have done in the past here.
“On Saturday at Walsall you would have thought we were playing at home. We filled the one end and they sand from the beginning to the end and they were tremendous for us.
“As I have said over the years I have been here the away support is phenomenal, where ever we go we take good support.
“On Friday night it is important we get people through the doors and they are willing us to go through to the next round, and we won’t get a better chance.”
