Port Vale midfielder Omar Haughton has joined Newcastle Town on a month-long loan.
The youngster signed his first senior forms as a Valiant during the summer and will now gain valuable experience with the local non-league side.
He joins fellow former scholars Jonathon Kapend, Lewis Bergin and Chekaine Steele who are also currently out on loan.
Haughton will be available to play in the Castle’s FA Cup first round qualifying clash at Coleshill Town on Saturday.
Port Vale boss Rob Page said: “This is a great chance for Omar to go out and play competitive men’s football.
“We’re sure he’s up to the challenge and hopefully it will be a good learning experience for him.”
Everyone at the club wishes Omar the best of luck during his time at Newcastle Town.
