Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD after Rob Page’s side had secured their passage into the next round, the Vale skipper weighed in on the issue.
“I was going to shout no matter what but I think you could tell from the reaction of their players they didn’t seem to react too much to it,” he said.
“From what I’ve heard on the video it’s looked over the line so I’m just glad it went in and it’s a massive result for the lads.”
