Details of Port Vale’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy first round clash with Carlisle United have been confirmed.

The tie will take place on Tuesday 1st September at Vale Park with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm.

The draw for the first round was made LIVE on Sky Sports’ Soccer Am on Saturday with the Valiants and Cumbrians being pitted against one another.
