Rico began his career with West Brom before making a move to fellow Birmingham-based club, Aston Villa. From there, he had a successful loan spell with Stockport County and then joined Vale last season on a season-long loan. Rico made the move to Vale permanent this summer following his contract expiring with Aston Villa.
