Vale to mark annual International Fans Day at Plymouth fixture

IFD-2025

Port Vale will proudly celebrate its growing international supporter base at this weekend's Sky Bet League One fixture against Plymouth Argyle, as part of the club's annual International Fans Day.

Now into its third season, the dedicated matchday event - in partnership with international supporter group Super Vale Abroad - recognises the dedication and passion of the incredible Valiants supporting the club from all corners of the globe.

To mark the occasion, we’ll again be sharing a range of special content across club channels that highlights the stories of our international supporters, and are inviting supporters to send in photos showing how you cheer on the Vale from afar.

Whether it’s a selfie in your matchday shirt or set-up for streaming games, photos can be submitted via email to media@port-vale.co.uk.

Pat Scragg, Founder of Super Vale Abroad, said: “Super Vale Abroad are delighted to confirm our annual International Fans Day event as the home fixture against Plymouth Argyle. We look forward to celebrating all things international at Port Vale Football Club, whether it’s our fans watching our impending win in New Zealand at silly o’clock, maybe a pre-match feed from another part of the world for a local fan in the FanZone or simply celebrating the two caps of former Jamaican international Darren Moore.

"Most importantly for our international fans group - most of whom are based all over the world - donations made as part of our SVA membership will be used today to send fans of the future to games in our absence. In partnership with the Port Vale Foundation and the Football Club itself, some lucky Junior Valiants will get a wonderful day out involving a free matchday ticket and some Vale goodies to take home.

"We’d like to thank everyone at the club for the incredible support in making this day happen, most notably Will Turner, Ryan Grant, Ben Martindale and Dan Townley. As ever, sending good luck to the lads - up the Vale!"

For supporters outside the UK and USA, every League One game can be streamed live on PVTV, including matches selected for TV broadcast.

For fans in the USA, the broadcast agreement differs slightly. While all matches are made available to the broadcaster in that region, only games not exclusively selected for TV can be streamed on PVTV in a co-exclusive arrangement.

Those living abroad who sign up for Super Vale Abroad membership receive a range of fantastic benefits too - for full details on PVTV passes and availability, please click here.
