Port Vale vs Arsenal | Ticketing update

Vale Park general

We want to clarify our position in terms of tickets for our upcoming Carabao Cup game against Arsenal.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge the frustration of supporters regarding the 'one ticket per account' policy for this fixture. We understand and appreciate that many of you would like to bring additional friends, family and colleagues to the game, but feel that the chosen sales process allows as many eligible supporters as possible to attend, should they wish to.

For context, in total, we have almost 30,000 active account holders eligible to buy one ticket each, with a total of 13,700 tickets available in home areas of Vale Park thanks to the decision to move to allocated seating for this fixture. With the number of eligible accounts outstripping the number of tickets available, we believe the process is as fair as possible while safeguarding both the club and our supporters.

More than 1,000 new accounts have been set up in recent weeks across all areas of the country, and the requirement for previous purchase history is aimed at stopping tickets getting into the hands of non-Vale supporters and ticket touts, protecting those supporters who have attended games previously and ensuring that all available home tickets go to Vale fans.

At present, there are just 3,000 tickets remaining for the game, with more than a week to go until the fixture takes place, putting us on course for a sell-out, as anticipated.

Ticket sales are being reviewed regularly and any updates to the process will be communicated in due course.
