Off the back of the release of its annual Impact Report, Port Vale Foundation have also plotted the next three years, to build on the huge steps forward the charity has taken and to take it into the next exciting chapter to continue to make a positive difference to people's lives.
The new strategy - "One Vale" - is an exciting commitment to continuing to be an influential and effective charity using the power of Port Vale - The EFL’s Community Club.
From the streets to the stands, everything we do – on and off the pitch – is driven by one thing: impact. It’s why we show up. It’s why we fight for this club and this community. From the Chair to the CEO, from the first team through to every coach, every volunteer, every person who wears the badge with pride – we are all in. Together. Because we believe in something bigger than football.
The Foundation and the community aren’t just add-ons to the football club, they’re the beating heart of everything we do! The soul. The reason we matter. At Port Vale Foundation, every session, every handshake, every story shared across a cup of tea… it’s part of something real. The badge has the power to unlock doors other organisations can’t. It reaches people the system forgets. It brings hope to places that need it most.
Head of Foundation, Naomi Parton said: "Our new strategy ‘One Vale’ has been six months of collaboration and engagement, creating this alongside all our stakeholders, our supporter base, our participants, the Foundation team, the club and our wider community and partners.
"Our strategy is real, it’s needs-led and sets out a clear path for how we will continue to make a difference with three key focus areas, which are, Building Belonging – connecting people and communities well beyond matchday; Powering Potential – creating opportunities for individuals of all ages to learn, grow and achieve; Wellbeing – making health, happiness and resilience the golden thread running through everything we do.
