We're off to Greater Manchester for our early Sky Bet League Two kick-off on Saturday, and the officiating team has been confirmed for the fixture.
Ben Atkinson has been tasked with taking charge of the game with the support of his assistants Stephen Wade and Wayne Grunill. Michael Barlow will be between the dugouts as the fourth official.
Since the 2016/17 season Atkinson has taken charge of 138 fixtures (including U18 and FA Youth Cup matches) with the majority taking place in the National League system. His first appearances in the EFL came during the 2023/24 season, he has gone on to referee 50 league fixtures across Leagues One and Two.
The official has taken charge of one previous fixture involving the Valiants, our 1-1 League One draw away at Wycombe Wanderers in December 2023.
