We’re pleased to confirm the loan signing of attacker Maleace Asamoah from Wigan Athletic, until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 23-year-old - who has 36 Sky Bet League One appearances to his name - came up through the youth systems at Reading and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
He also counts Fleetwood Town among his former clubs, and signed for Wigan in August 2024. Asamoah subsequently joined Shamrock Rovers on loan during the second half of last season.
Port Vale Manager, Jon Brady, said: “Maleace is quick and powerful player who is suited to the left wing but can also play through the middle.
“He’s played quite a few games at League One level and we’re all pleased to welcome him to the group.”
Asamoah will now link up with his new team-mates this week. We would like to extend a warm welcome to Maleace and his family.
