Shaun Brisley has been nominated for the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month prize for February - with voting open now.
The Vale defended enjoyed an impressive month, breaking into the side following an injury to Nathan Smith and played a central role in the Valiants’ unbeaten month which saw the Vale keep two clean sheets and Brisley get his first goal of the season.
Although he suffered an injury towards the end of the month, his form earns him a nomination for the award, alongside a host of the league’s best performers.
Oldham Athletic pair Jonny Smith and Zak Dearnley, Crewe Alexandra’s Perry Ng and Grimsby Town pair Charles Vernamare and James Hanson the other players nominated.
