It is fair to say that after coming back into the squad on Saturday, Louis Dodds highly impressed with his briliant performance on the right wing.
He feels like he did everything but get on the score sheet, however he knows that if he is given another chance on Saturday against Bradford City he will get a goal if he gets as many chances as he did against Barnsley last Saturday.
Talking to the press yesterday, Louis said: “It was just nice to get a start again and get back involved, so hopefully the goals will come if I get the nod again.
“I should have scored on Saturday, but a mix of bad finishing and a good save stopped me.
“I think regardless of who’s in charge if you get the chance to start, you just want to start again and again.
“Hopefully I will get my chance again soon, so I can show everyone what I can do.
“I’m not too worried about not scoring on Saturday, because I’m sure it’ll happen this Saturday.
“It’s not like I’m short on shots, so with the law of averages on my side, I’m bound to get one soon.
“Everyone knows that to get into this team, you have to be playing well especially out wide, because we’ve got so many great players.”
On a final note Dodds believes that although Bradford is always a hard place to go to, it is also been host to a few great matches between the two sides over recent years.
He explained: “It’s always a hard place to go, but it’s also always a good atmosphere and we always end up being involved in entertaining matches there. Hopefully it will be another good game and we get a decent result.
