Chairman announces the first of many discounts
Port Vale fans who purchase a ticket for Friday nights final home game of the season, against Sheffield United, are being offered an extra incentive to attend, with the face value of Fridays match ticket going towards the cost of watching the Valiants in 2014/15.
In a range of initiatives which the Club are introducing, fans can use the face value of their ticket purchase as a credit against three ticket propositions, including the option of price freeze on match day ticket purchases for Vales Football League fixtures.
· By buying a match ticket on Friday night, you can use the ticket stub to secure the face value off of a season ticket for the 2014/15 campaign.
· That credit could also go towards a new Ten Game Mini-Season Ticket scheme, which has been designed to allow Vale fans to pick-and-choose ten league games of their choice for next season.
· Alternatively those who prefer to buy their tickets on a match-by-match basis can price freeze that cost by buying a ticket against the Blades. The Club are set to increase the cost of walk-up ticket prices on a match day for next season, which means by freezing your ticket costs you will be making significant savings over the course of the year.
The credit can also go against a revamped structured five instalment payment plan, which is being introduced to help spread the cost of the season ticket across the course of the season.
Speaking about the initiative, Chairman Norman Smurthwaite said: We are now coming to the end of our first season in League One and I trust all of you will agree with me that is has been an excellent season, in so far as the football, and holding our own, in a new division and competing at some new and exciting venues.
Hopefully the Port Vale fans can come and show their support for the manager, the players and most importantly the Club on Friday night, for what has been an excellent contribution and to help us as a Club to build a foundation for what will hopefully be a promotion chasing season next year. It will be a season where I will be better educated and more qualified in terms of running a Football Club.
This value for money offer will be first of one of several initiatives over the coming weeks, schemes which will hopefully build the platform of what we want to do as a Football Club. These revenue streams will be vital in help drive the Club forward with, and take us to the promotion that we are all striving for.
This range of discount initiatives will only be available to those who purchase a ticket at the final home game of the season. A bumper crowd is expected at Vale Park for the game against the Blades, with the Valiants faithful set to say farewell to their favourites ahead of the summer break.
Current Vale season ticket holders are reminded that they have until the end of April to secure the discounted loyalty renewal season ticket prices, which start from as little as £325 for adults. RENEW NOW
Further announcements over the next week will include news of an added incentive for all season ticket holders who renew before the end of April deadline and the introduction of a ground-breaking Junior Valiants package - which will see the Clubs young fans able to sign-up for a season ticket and replica shirt for just £20.
Season ticket holders for the 2014/15 campaign will also be offered bigger than ever discounts in the club shop, reduced replica kit prices, a chance to sign-up for a free Valiant Player subscription, as well as the standard priority purchase options on cup games.
