Port Vale are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Anthony Grant.

The 28-year-old completed his switch to Vale Park on Wednesday afternoon, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.

The former Chelsea man has spent the previous two years at local rivals Crewe Alexandra and faced the Valiants twice last season in Sky Bet League One.

Grant has also had spells at Stevenage, Southend United, Luton Town, Wycombe Wanderers and Oldham Athletic in the past.
