Port Vale look set to entertain Bradford City this weekend, looking to get back to winning ways at Vale Park.
Things have changed since Vale came up against the Bantams in the first game of the season back in August.
New man in charge and several new players in the squad and one of those is midfielder Danny Pugh.
Pugh has been a key player since he came in, with the vast amount of experience he holds and has nailed down a place in the starting eleven, something he is happy about.
He said: "That's what you want to do, that is why I am here. You can train as much as possible but at the end of the day you want to play games, and the more games you play the more comfortable you feel and the better it is for yourself personally.
"I am enjoying it; I was made welcome from the minute I walked in. I have enjoyed the games although I am disappointed with a couple of them where I thought we could have picked up wins as opposed to draws. But I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far."
Danny has been a regular in the centre of midfield in recent weeks, but that could potentially change this weekend.
With Kjell Knops out suspended and Remie Street injured, Vale are left with just Nathan Smith at centre-back and it could be Danny Pugh who fills in.
Having had a long and successful career, Pugh has played in several positions and he wouldn’t mind dropping back into the back four.
“We know we have a couple of injuries and a suspension to go into the mix, but we can't worry about that , we have to focus on the game and focus on the players available.
"I will do whatever the manager wants me to do to help the team. We don't know what is going to happen yet, but whoever is available, I am sure they will do their best. I have played in quite a few positions although I won't venture up front or anywhere around that neck of the woods!”
