Supporters’ Club Donates Defibrillator To Port Vale

The official Supporters’ Club has very kindly donated a defibrillator and cabinet to Port Vale to be kept in the Valiant Suite hospitality and function room.

The defibrillator was initially given to the Supporters’ Club by Manorshop.com and Reliance Medical, Congleton but they have, in turn, decided to pass it on to us at Vale Park.

Speaking about the donation, Ally Simcock told port-vale.co.uk: 'It was given to us to place somewhere within the local community and we have some discussion about where the best place to position it would be.

"We noticed there was not a defibrillator within the Valiant Suite, which would benefit Port Vale fans, guests and staff, so we decided to place it there.

“Cardiac disease is an illness close to my heart and this coincides with the 24th anniversary of my own dad's death from a heart attack. If this equipment can help save just one person's life, it is a bonus."

The Football Club would like to thank the Supporters’ Club, Manorshop.com and Reliance Medical for the donation.
