Michael Brown Looks Ahead To Bradford Clash

This weekend marks the start of the 2016/17 Sky Bet League One season, as Vale travel to Bradford City, looking to get off to a perfect start.

It has been all change at Vale Park, with new players and new backroom staff in charge at the club.

During the start of the summer, Michael Brown was named Assistant Manager to newly appointed Manager, Bruno Ribeiro.

The 39 year-old is a veteran of the game and despite taking up the new role, he still remains in the plans of the first team squad.

Despite missing the game this weekend with an injury, the Assistant Manager, took time to speak about his thought ahead of the game against Bradford City.

He said: “We’re all looking forward to it, it’s been a long time coming with all the change but we’ve done five weeks of preparation now.

“The boys and staff are raring to go and hopefully we can take a lot of support up there.

“We’re going to try get the three points and that’s the main objective, to be on the front foot and try and attack at Bradford as best we can.”
