Disappointed with Saturday's result, but it's not the end of the world
Assistant Manager Mark Grew is obviously disappointed with Saturday’s result against Gillingham, but he says it is just a blip and hinted the management are not over conjcerned.
He said: “We are disappointed with Saturday’s result but we have got to put it right this week. We have got to work hard on things we didn’t do well on Saturday.
“We’ve gone through the DVD with them this morning and there are quite a few things. The goals we conceded were ‘everything we told the lads were going to happen’.
“We watched the DVDs of Gillingham’s last two matches and warned the players what to expect and that is the frustrating thing, when you have told them and then they concede like that. It’s a bit annoying to say the least.
“We had chances to get back into it, but unfortunately the luck wasn’t with us. Overall I think they probably deserved the win.
“You know sooner or later something is going to happen. It’s unfortunate it happened on Saturday in front of a good crowd, but we’re still second in the league. It’s a blip, but not a crisis.
