As part of our ongoing 150th anniversary celebrations, we are delighted to announce plans for Vale Through the Ages – a unique three-day pop-up exhibition celebrating the club’s proud heritage, community and culture.
Taking place across several areas of Vale Park – including the Fanzone, Foundation Building, Hamil Concourse, and Tommy’s Bar – the museum event is set to run from Sunday 7th to Tuesday 9th December.
The exhibition was first suggested to the club by our Supporter Advisory Board, and we are delighted to be bringing their vision to life.
Designed to bring generations of supporters together, Vale Through the Ages will offer a journey through Port Vale’s story – from our early beginnings to modern-day milestones, with supporters encouraged to display their most unique memorabilia.
What to expect
The pop-up museum will feature a combination of traditional exhibits and modern interactive experiences, including:
- Heritage zone: vintage kits, historic match programmes and silverware
- Supporter memories: An opportunity for you to share your favourite Vale moments and stories
- Children’s zone: Activities including kit-designing workshops, colouring stations and a meet-and-greet with our mascot, Boomer.
- Talks and Q&As: Hear from club legends and historians as they share stories from years gone by.
The event will also include themed food and drink and plenty of opportunities for supporters of all ages to get involved.
More information – including confirmed timings and ticket details – will be released in the coming weeks.
Supporters, schools and local history groups interested in taking part or contributing to the exhibition are encouraged to contact the club via events@port-vale.co.uk.
