Jon Brady's Valiants will host National League side, Scunthorpe United, in the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The Iron have found consistent league form hard to come by so far this season and currently sit in 22nd place, but comfortably saw off fellow National League side, Boston United, 3-1 to reach the First Round.
The visitors' backroom team hosts a number of familiar faces to the Vale faithful, with former assistant manager, John Schofield, and former goalkeeper, Paul Musselwhite, holding positions within the Scunthorpe United setup.
This fixture will also represent the first competitive meeting between the two sides since January 2022.
First Round ties are due to be played across the weekend of Saturday 7th November. Fixture and ticket information will be available in due course.
