As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, we have teamed up with COPA to re-launch two iconic retro shirts from the club’s history, both chosen by supporters.
Following an online vote from a shortlist put together by our Supporter Advisory Board, supporters selected the 1991/92 home and away shirts as their favourites.
The designs have been faithfully recreated in partnership with COPA and are available now in the Club Store and online.
Vale’s General Manager, Ben Martindale – who oversees the club’s retail operation – said: “These shirts mean a lot to supporters and that’s exactly why it was important for us to put the decision in their hands. The response to the vote was brilliant and the 1991/92 home and away designs clearly struck a chord.
“Working with COPA has allowed us to do these shirts justice, staying true to the original designs while delivering a quality product. To be able to mark our 150th anniversary by bringing back two popular shirts feels like the right way to celebrate the club’s history.”
