It's our first midweek league game of the season as we head to Wiltshire to take on Swindon Town, the officials have been confirmed and can be found below.
Matt Corlett has been selected to take charge of the fixture with the support of his assistants Alan Cresswell and Michael Webb. Will Briers has been named the game's fourth official.
Corlett is the current chairman of the Bootle Referees Association and has been refereeing since he was 14 years old. In 2016, the official made the decision to step away from being an assistant referee and focus on being in the middle, he made his refereeing debut in the Football League in March 2023.
The official has been in the middle of 161 games so far in his career, handing out 588 yellow cards and 11 red cards.
This will be the fourth time he has taken charge of a Vale game, the most recent being our 2024 Boxing Day defeat against Bradford City.
