Chilowicz transitioned from officiating in Major League Soccer (MLS) to the EFL in 2023 having previously taken charge of 104 matches in the United States' highest league competition.
Since moving to England, he has taken charge of 59 matches across all competitions with the majority of them in Sky Bet League One.
This will be the first time the US National has refereed a Vale game.
