Kyle John was named Port Vale's Player of the Season at an internal event at Vale Park earlier today, following a supporter vote.

After being voted the club's Young Player of the Season in 2024/25 as we won promotion to League One, the defender has followed up the achievement with another impressive campaign that has seen him deservedly recognised. His name will be added to the illustrious list of winners, displayed outside the Legends Lounge in the Lorne Street Stand.

The 25-year-old was also crowned Supporters' Club Player of the Season, with Head of Port Vale Supporters' Club, Mark Porter, in attendance to present the award.

Elsewhere, fellow defender Connor Hall was named Players' Player of the Season by his team-mates, with namesake George picking up the Young Player of the Season prize. Ben Waine's memorable winner against Premier League side Sunderland AFC in the FA Cup was chosen as Goal of the Season.

Club staff were also recognised, with People Manager, Stephanie Maskery, named Employee of the Season. Long-serving staff members Mark Forster (Stadium Team), Gerard Austin (Media Team) and Dean Martin (Venue Team) were also given individual awards in recognition of their respective contributions to the club.
