We can confirm that James Plant has joined Sky Bet League Two side Tranmere Rovers on a permanent deal.
The Vale Academy graduate made a total of 50 appearances for the club, also gaining valuable experience while out on loan at Salisbury and Yeovil Town respectively.
Plant - who turned 21 in November - made one appearance for the Valiants this season, featuring in our 1-0 win over Blackpool in the Carabao Cup.
