We can confirm that Jack Shorrock has joined National League North side Chester FC on loan until December.
The 18-year-old penned a new contract at Vale Park in July, which will see him stay with the Valiants until at least 2028.
In 2022, Jack became the youngest player in our history to make an appearance at the age of 15 years and 145 days and he has gone on to make a total 43 appearances across all competitions, 17 of those coming in our promotion-winning 2024/25 League Two campaign.
