Five Academy players head out on loan

MO

We can confirm that Keaton Moseley, Joe Williams, Clayton Malbon, Miracle Orisakwe and Eddie Lake have all secured non-league loans.

A strong set of loans for all five players will provide valuable experience for their futures.

Miracle Orisakwe, who featured in a series of first-team pre-season games and was included in the tour in Spain has earned a loan to Step 2 side Southport FC.

Eddie Lake joins Step 3 Stourbridge FC after making his first team debut against Lincoln City in the final game of last season.

Defender Joe Williams, who secured a professional contract with the club after an impressive first year in the Academy, has joined Lower Breck FC, who compete in the Northern Premier League Division One West.

Third year scholars Keaton Moseley and Clayton Malbon will link up with local side Kidsgrove Athletic for this campaign.

Head of Academy, Danny Lloyd, said: “We’re incredibly proud to see all five players secure loan moves this season. It’s a fantastic reflection of the hard work, commitment and development shown by the players, as well as the support of everyone involved in the Academy. Seeing young players progress into senior football is exactly what the Academy pathway is all about.

“Each player now has a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, play regular football and continue developing in a competitive environment. We’ll be following their progress closely and supporting them throughout their loans, and we wish all five players every success for the season ahead.”

We wish all five players the very best with their respective loans.
