Darren Moore and Devante Cole have been nominated for September's Sky Bet League One Manager and Player of the Month awards respectively.
Following a positive month on the pitch for the Valiants - which included impressive victories over Exeter City, Mansfield Town and Barnsley - Moore has been named as one of four shortlisted managers for the monthly accolade.
He will be up against Graham Alexander (Bradford City), Tom Cleverley (Plymouth Argyle) and Michael Skubala (Lincoln City).
Meanwhile, Cole has enjoyed a fantastic first month at Vale Park since joining on deadline day, contributing three goals and one assist in four games, including one on his debut for the club.
Jack Marriott (Reading), Josh Neufville (Bradford City) and Harvey White (Stevenage) have also been nominated for the player award,
