We are delighted to announce the loan signing of Derby County striker Dajaune Brown, who becomes our tenth new addition of the summer.
The Jamaican Under-23s international joins the Valiants for the duration of the 2025/26 campaign, having made a total of 16 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship since rising through the ranks at Pride Park.
The 19-year-old spent the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Gateshead, scoring a total of 10 goals in 22 appearances. He found the net in the FA Trophy Final and went on to score the winning penalty as the Tynesiders lifted silverware at Wembley Stadium.
Brown will now link up with his new team-mates ahead of this weekend’s league game away at Reading.
First-team manager, Darren Moore, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Dajaune to the club for the remainder of the campaign – he's someone we’ve been monitoring for a while now and a player who we feel can really add to what we’re doing here at Port Vale.
“Our thanks to Derby County for trusting us with his development, and we’ll look forward to integrating him with the group this week.”
Everyone at the club would like to extend a warm welcome to Dajaune and his family.
