We are delighted to confirm that Andre Gray has joined the club on a permanent basis, initially until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
The 34-year-old striker – who has 115 Premier League appearances to his name – becomes our fifth addition of the January transfer window, having recently left Turkish top-flight side Fatih Karagümrük.
Gray previously played for Luton Town, Brentford and Burnley among others, winning the Championship golden boot in 2016 while at Watford.
In total, he has scored 205 goals – including three for Jamaica – in 585 senior appearances.
The forward will link up with his new team-mates at Vale Park next week.
Speaking about the deal, First-Team Manager Jon Brady said: "We’re delighted to welcome someone of Andre’s pedigree here to Port Vale. He’s got a wealth of experience and his goalscoring record speaks for itself.
“It’s fantastic to have him on board and I know he’s raring to go.”
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Andre and his family.
