Port Vale Football Club can confirm that defender Chris Hussey has joined Stockport County following the mutual termination of his contract at Vale Park.
Hussey, 33, joined Vale earlier this year and made a total of 23 appearances for the club, including 15 starts as Darrell Clarke’s side won promotion to League One via the Play-Offs.
Manager Darrell Clarke said: "We'd like to thank Chris for his time spent with us at Vale park in which he helped us to get promoted out of League Two.
"He is a model professional and it was great to have a character like him in the changing room, we wish him all the best at Stockport County and with this rest of his career."
