Following a month of stellar performances, Will Forrester has won the Reels In Motion Player of the Month award for October!
The month began with a memorable victory over Derby County away at Pride Park, with our number 15 securing the fan voted Player of the Match award after a dominating display.
Forrester continued his form throughout the month, scooping up a second Player of the Match award following our victory away at Cambridge United, where he provided the assist for the match winning own goal.
“I’m really happy to have won the award and I’d like to thank all the fans for voting for me,” Forrester told the club upon being awarded the October Player of the Month trophy.
“I think it’s [receiving appreciation from the fans for his performances] the best thing for me, because obviously coming to the club from Stoke, I was a bit worried about what the fans would think of me, but I’m delighted that they are so behind me and happy with how I'm playing.
“Hopefully this is just the start for myself, and I can kick on and really cement my place in the team and go on to achieve good things this season.”
