This morning we have received the devastating news that Errol Yorke, has sadly passed away.
Errol, an extremely popular figure around the club, was well known for the love he had for Vale but also his iconic nickname "Boomers Dad".
Described by family and friends as a genuine, generous and loving individual, we as a club are deeply saddened by the news of his passing.
The family will announce more information with regards to the funeral in due course.
Everyone at Port Vale Football Club would like to send their thoughts and prayers to the family of Errol at this extremely difficult time. He will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Errol.
