It was a quiet week for Port Vale’s players who are out on loan this week, with none of the five Valiants earning a win.

Luke Dennis started in Newcastle Town’s away draw with Stamford after extending his loan spell for a further two months.

Mike Calveley started in Leek Town’s draw with top of the league Cleethorpes Town after a hard fought fixture. Leek stay 4th.

Charlie Walford started on his debut at Romulus and drew 2-2 in a basement battle at home to Sheffield FC. Romulus still sit 21st.

Graham Kelly started Bradford Park Avenue’s away FA Cup tie with Yorkshire Rivals Harrogate Town, that ended in a 0-0 stalemate. BPA will be looking to capitalise on tonight’s home advantage in the replay.

Joe Slinn did not feature in Stalybridge Celtic’s home draw against high-flying Altrincham.
