Port Vale Football Club has today appointed lifelong Vale supporter Tony Fradley as their new Chairman.
Fradley (67) was born in Burslem and has lived in North Staffordshire all his life. He spent many years working in the Electrification Department for the Railways and is a professional and successful businessman in his own right.
He has represented the Club in the capacity of President since November 2014. With immediate effect he will support Colin Garlick, CEO and the entire management team both on and off the pitch.
Fradley had this to say about the appointment:
“It’s an honour and a privilege to be appointed as Chairman, I’ve been a supporter since the 1950’s so I’m totally committed to the long term success of the Club. I’m very much looking forward to working with the management team to get to where we want to be in terms of taking the Club forward”.
