Port Vale boss Rob Page has insisted his players will keep fighting right up until the end of the season.
The Valiants were dealt a blow to their play-off hopes on Easter Monday when they lost at home to Barnsley, despite having more chances than the Tykes.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD after the match, the manager was disappointed but made the point that there’s still plenty to play for in the last six games.
“The message now to the players is that we’re professional, we go and try and win as many games as we can,” he said.
“We’ll need a little bit of luck to go with us as well but let’s keep fighting and until it’s mathematically impossible, we’ll give it everything we’ve got.”
