Take a look at what our new signing had to say after he put pen to paper.
Earlier today we were pleased to announce the signing of French midfielder Quentin Pereira on a two-year deal, with an option of a third.
The midfielder put pen to paper at Vale Park and then immediately got his pre-season training underway with the rest of his team mates.
Pereira is the third signing this week and the third under new manager Bruno Ribeiro.
Following the confirmation of the deal, Pereira spoke briefly about his delight of getting the deal done.
He said: "I feel great to get the deal done because it is a new challenge for me and I am very excited to begin when the start of the season comes round with my new club.
"The fans who don't know much about me can expect a simple, technical game from me in the midfield, I will do my very best here at Port Vale.
"I hope that for the whole club and the supporters that we have a great season and I will do my best for me, the supporters and the club and hopefully it is a good adventure and we can be happy at the end of the season."
