Robinson Itching To Make Vale Bow At Doncaster

New signing Theo Robinson is looking forward to potentially making his Port Vale debut against former club Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday evening.

The 27-year-old, who has signed for the Valiants until the end of the season, could be selected by manager Rob Page if his international clearance comes through in time.

Robinson spent two years at the Keepmoat Stadium between 2013 and 2015 before transferring to Motherwell last summer.

Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD ahead of the midweek game, the striker said it’d be great to make his Vale bow against Darren Ferguson’s side and to score a goal in the process.

“It’s obviously at my old club so it would be more and more interesting,” the latest addition to the squad commented.

“I can’t wait to play against my old teammates and hopefully get the most important thing which is the points.”

When asked about the potential of scoring on his debut, Robinson replied: “I’ve done it before for Doncaster so hopefully I’ll do it against them this time.”
