Port Vale boss Rob Page was frustrated with his side’s performance against Millwall.
A disappointing first half saw the Valiants concede three times and although there was improvement in the second 45 minutes it wasn’t enough to prevent a defeat.
The manager was particularly annoyed with the manner in which the goals were conceded and felt the Lions didn’t have to work too hard to score them.
Speaking to Valiant PlayerHD, he said: “In the main, defensively, with the back four all season we’ve been very complimentary, they’ve done well.
“Today, they’ve had an off day, it was too easy for them to score the goals. We didn’t have a lot up top first half.
“We’ve given them the first 45 minutes, we’ve given them a three goal head start and when you come to Millwall away and do that there’s only one outcome unfortunately.”
