Peter Bankes will referee Port Vale’s clash with Swindon Town this week.
The Valiants take on the Robins at Vale Park on Tuesday night, kick off 7.45pm, in Sky Bet League One.
Mr Bankes has officiated 23 games so far this season, brandishing 88 cautions and one red card.
The last game he took charge of involving Vale was the Club’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy loss to Preston North End last season.
Nicholas Barnard and Anthony Moore will be the assistant referees while Peter Gooch will be the fourth official.
