Inniss on the comeback trail

Plans for the defender to play at least sixty minutes against Wigan Athletic this afternoon

Ryan Inniss will start today’s reserves match against Wigan Athletic at Robin Park in only his second game since his injury, having played 45 minutes for Crystal Palace recently.

The on loan defender, who recently returned from Palace after recovering from a shoulder injury sustained in Vale’s match at Fleetwood back in September, is now looking to get match-fit.

Rob Page said yesterday that the defender is expected to play at least sixty minutes, but depending on how the game goes, he could even play the full ninety.

Iniss is joined in the team by goalkeeper Chris Neal and a strike force of JJ Hooper and Achille Campion, each hoping to do enough to impress first team manager Rob Page and force  their way into his thoughts.
